1. Videowall: what it is and why to install one for your business
A videowall is a large screen made up of multiple displays that form a wide viewing area. It is an audiovisual technology solution with great potential, ideal for presenting detailed, high-definition content in a creative way. Videowalls are widely used in control rooms and in all those contexts where it is essential to have a large-format display system available for monitoring processes and activities carried out by institutions, organizations, and companies.
2. Audiovisual technology to connect, engage, and inform
The audiovisual technology sector has undergone a major transformation over time, driven by digitalization. From smart cities to process automation in companies, technology today ensures interconnection and the accessibility of different types of content, offering an overall view that simplifies data processing and enhances the end-user experience. One of the most important functions of technology is precisely this: to connect in order to engage and inform. More and more companies today understand how important it is to adopt modern technological solutions that, in addition to simplifying workflow, help expand business.
3. The Wonderware Italy Demo Room: the genesis of the project
The first meeting with Alessandro Bertoli, Portfolio & Solutions Manager at Wonderware Italy, took place in December 2021. It was a moment of discussion in which we took on the client’s request, namely the need to create a Demo Room: a demonstration environment dominated by a large and powerful videowall, capable of showcasing the capabilities of the distributed software.
“We deal with software for monitoring & control in the industrial sector,” explains Alessandro Bertoli. “Our aim is to encourage and promote the development of control rooms within manufacturing companies and infrastructures, because a comprehensive and intelligent visualization of data and information at the enterprise level is the key to optimization at every level. This new vision of business is the future we envision for all Italian companies.”
3.1 The audiovisual technology selected by AGMultivision for the Demo Room
After the agreement and the consulting phase, which for us represents the added value of our work, we started the installation phase of a large videowall for Wonderware Italy. The video installation took place within an exhibition space: a physical environment entirely redesigned to welcome clients and offer them a new and much more direct user experience, allowing them to “experience firsthand” the power of the tool, with the numerous analysis and integrated visualization capabilities it provides. I monitor che abbiamo scelto per l’installazione di un videowall 3×2 sono di LG Electronics: 6 monitor 55VM5J-H 55” displays with a total 1.8 mm bezel, mounted on a self-supporting aluminum structure with Peerless-AV DS-VW765-LQR push-and-pull brackets integrated within a wooden frame. We also supplied an HP Z6 G4 Workstation and two graphics cards for managing the display area, allowing signals to be organized according to specific needs.

4. AGMultivision’s consulting, a value-added innovation player
“The added value of this project was having a solution that was both sustainable and fully satisfactory,” says Alessandro Bertoli. “We redesigned the spaces thanks to the various site inspections carried out by AGMultivision, in collaboration with the architecture studio; this synergy in the design phase made it possible to identify any issues immediately, resolve them upstream, and then proceed quickly, shortening implementation times. In addition to their technical expertise, we chose AGMultivision because, from the very first meeting, I understood that I would be supported throughout the entire project. A strong relationship of trust was established from the early stages of the consultancy, thanks to the support and presence of Tiziano Testoni, AV Design Engineer, and Edoardo Mantegazza, Business Development Manager at AGMultivision.”
An entire wall of the Wonderware Italy Demo Room was dedicated to hosting the videowall, a large display capable of conveying to clients a sense of modernity and effectiveness: in this project, technology becomes a means of communicating the value it delivers. Thanks to the know-how developed over nearly two decades of activity, we transformed an informal space into a place of inspiration, allowing Wonderware Italy’s users to effectively experience the value of the software they offer.
